What's the most competitive international football tournament? 15:19 - Jun 14 with 326 views

Euros?
World Cup?
Copa America?
Africa Nations Cup?

The World Cup by its name should be, but I often look at the Euros and see a much higher % of quality teams.

I think it is probably South American World Cup qualifying - home and away, big home advantages, every team is decent in there now and you don't have the random invited teams and dodgy tournament schedules like Copa America.

Euro's probably was, but going from 16-24 and playing 36 games to eliminate 8 teams means you don't need to be on it from game 1. World Cup going a similar way
