Huws next.

To be honest, thought this would be something Judge would be happy do. Got a lovely manor in Ipswich, his family has settled here now, thought he would try and stay as local as possible.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

Would suit him perfectly. Same goes for Scuse & Chambers who are family men, who are settled in the area and who's kids are going to schools here and making friends etc.

Good luck to him. Took a lot of stick from many town fans, underservedly if you ask me. Think he'll do well in L2.

You're assuming the players they've signed are good enough at that level.

Will they be?

Same handful of players comfy in the knowledge they now have 2 year deals 20 minutes up the road no matter how they perform even at league 2 level

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

No thanks.

A load of has beens who were way off the required level this year. They will be a year older and have even less desire to do well.

Mid table for them next season.

RIP Sir Bobby

You'd think, but years of failing and the fact they're all in their 30s now isn't exactly HMS Piss the League material.

They were all in their 30s when our fans were using the old 'HMS piss the league'

I already see Colchester fans saying how he's too good for league two, they better be careful...

Absolute no brainer for the players but Colchester must know they're all going there because they don't want to move and they're all family men?

They've gone for convenience. I don't suppose their hearts will be in it. Think it's either go brilliantly or be a similar anti climax to our last two years.

Happy with this, because it's been a too long since Colchester had a Dublin accent in the dressing room. (The U's have a fine history when it comes to Dubliners at the club.)

On ColU TV, as well as the usual stuff about happy to stay local, helping the young lads through etc, he also made a big point of saying that a major attraction was being told he could play in his favoured position, 'in the middle or as a 10'. Said he had been happy enough to try to do a job wherever he was put, but wanted the next few years to play where he's best.

Frank's back too, which will be viewed with great relief by U's fans. (Again he said he had offers from league 1, but likes living here.)

Haha, I said they would be an interesting watch not nesseccarily a good watch. Maybe all our suspicions will be confirmed and they will be shown up for what some of us think.

Nah, they should be ok at this level....
