Holland and Cameroon could both have been in my list. I went for Ghana as they've had a bit of a World Cup adventure more recently. Everyone loves the Dutch. So many fantastic footballers over the years, they could easily have four or five World Cups to their name.

Your favourite international teams on 11:09 - Jun 21 with 1335 views | Ftnfwest | Italy, Spain, Brazil although the latter 2 have waned a bit over the years. Brazil i just grew up watching their great sides especially 1982. I used to like Spain before their very successful period although still liked them then as well and remember at Uni being in a rom of mates watching them play Denmark (Laudrups, Elkjaer etc) expecting to get beaten, with everyone else favoring Denmark - Spain won 5-1. Always had a bit of a soft spot for Mexico.
Your favourite international teams on 11:35 - Jun 21 with 1262 views | RobTheMonk | The Germans and Italians are a fun watch at the moment. Also, watching Brazil capitulate against the Germans in Rio was one of the funniest games I've ever seen. It could have been double figures that day. I also quite like watching the USA. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

When you think back to the pragmatic way the Italians used to play, this team under Mancini is a revelation.
Your favourite international teams on 13:08 - Jun 21 with 1119 views | Dubtractor | Netherlands. Orange kit = win. Plus I was 12 when they won Euro 88 and that team stuck in my memory as being pretty good, despite apparently being outsiders for the tournament.

The 1982 team under Bearzot played a version of total football with players switching positions when the situation required. Scirea and Antognoni the main men for this.

Loved that team, got the shirt and the same Reush keeper gloves as Hans Van Breukelen wore.

Chile! Blackburn’s Ben Brereton up front has been a revelation for them over the last couple of games, and their fans absolutely love him because he’s just so different to anyone they’ve ever had in their team.

Netherlands, from watching them in 74 and 78 when England didn't qualify for the WC, quickly followed by the Dutch masters Muhren and Thijssen, what could you not enjoy about watching the Dutch! Once the Dutch are eliminated, Italy and Germany.
Your favourite international teams on 17:18 - Jun 21 with 867 views | judespiveyg | Spain- I first got into football around 2010 and they had that magic side who played perfect football. Them winning the 2012 Euro final 4-0 starting 6 centre mids and no striker against a solid Italy side was brilliant. Germany- So many players from the 2014 side I loved. Neuer, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Ozil, Klose and Muller who's one of my favourite players ever.
| I survived Ipswich 0-0 Burton |

Africa - Tough one, Nigeria just edge out Cameroon and Ghana. Asia - South Korea is an easy pick for me. South America - Brazil. So many good teams over the years. North and Central America - Tough one between Costa Rica and Canada. Guess I should pick Canada as I'm moving there in about a month. But Costa Rica is definitely close to the heart. Pura Vida!
