Got my best mate and his wife visiting from Rushden for a couple of days. Haven't seen them for nearly a year. Dinner and beers in the local at 3 p.m. Back here for a slow build up, a hard fought 2-1 win against very tricky Ukraine, then it may get a tad messy afterwards.
Come on England
We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub.

Got a few friends coming over in a little bit, beers and a smoke with a takeaway followed by all the football. As I now work from home, I've allowed myself to be a bit more antisocial of late, so this will be the first game I watch with friends. Hopefully it isn't a jinx!

...England fans booing, abusing the opposition players, taking the p*ss out of opposition fans, waving the St George cross, celebrating if we score and any other form of overt nationalism.
Come on everyone else!!!

Anybody got a good pub in Suffolk (preferably out of Ipswich Town centre) that shows the game on a screen in the garden. Maybe not for todays game but for the semis.

Was considering the local with their TV in the garden set-up but that's out the window given Thursday's jab has had an effect on my stomach. Not risking that!

Home with a few cans and some dhal and rice etc.
Dhal and beer on a dodgy stomach, what could possibly.....
Going to a local football club, lots of screens, table service, beer and food. Was a cracking atmosphere for the German match so hopeing for the same tonight :-)

It's all right, I'm not too bothered. And the jab takes a couple of weeks to take effect anyway doesn't it.
At home I get prime spot for viewing whereas at the pub it will probably mean booking and all the rest of it and the best seats will be gone.
I have even cleaned my TV screen just now! I went through the cupboards, I knew there was some screen stuff somewhere. How good am I?!
Am happy with my spot. For the Scotland game I was in a pub with a load of younguns who were a proper pain in the arse, drunk, obnoxious and worth avoiding. Much better spot for an old fart tbh.
