Well done Ipswich and Mark Ashton 21:40 - Jul 12 with 854 viewsBluedanW

After waking up totally depressed this morning I am now upbeat looking forward to 3 weeks time and a new season thanks to another impressive signing.

We are starting to see a team. Lots of competition and options of players that can play in various positions.

Holy / hladky goalkeepers

kenlock/ Pennington left back

Youngs or burns right back

Wolfenden Centre back

Downes, dobra, Evans, harper, burns midfield

Norwood, Bonne , piggot attack

Feel we still need a couple of strong centre backs and maybe another keeper.
And crooks midfield maybe

Then I will feel.pretty confident

It's Penney at LB.

Nsiala def did well enough for a mention, a worthy squad member.

Nolan will also feature, at least from the bench.

Poll: Would Lambert have acheived better results than Cook if given the same resources

I also think Nsiala could have a good season… but we’ll see a commanding centre back coming in

Penney may play wide left perhaps, with a new LB coming in… cook not sweet on Kenlock

As the OP states the new signing was a great tonic this morning

Poll: How many points will Town get from 5 (Wat, Boro, Hull, Cov, Hudd)?

My reference to Penney was that it's not Pennington. Agreed he could play higher up, and may be back up.
