Lee Evans will turn out to be the best of who we’ve signed so far, play every game and probably be Captain unless we sign someone for eg Smallwood or a Sonny Bradley type. [Post edited 14 Jul 2021 21:40]

I know it was only against Dartford but Harper looked very decent - I'm really excited about him and the energy he looks like he will bring.

I will wait to see how they perform for us before deciding.
However, how do I anticipate them from the little I know of them?
1 Evans (Cook knows him and I think he will provide leadership)
2 Harper (sounds like he was at home in the Championship)
3 Pigott (scored a good number of goals and something we were seriously lacking)
4 Burns (looked very good when he played against us. Will provide pace and a real attaching threat)
5 Hladky (sounds like he is a step up on our other keepers and that will make a difference in points)
6 Fraser (sounds ambitious and has certainly been a top player at this level)
7 Penney (he is our player which ranks him above the loanee)
8 Bonne (I am not sure what to expect from him and will be happy if he proves a far better signing than this)
But then again I thought a squad full of Championship experienced and highly rated players would get us up so what do I know? |  |

It's crazy but I think they are all well above the level of player we have been used to signing and its actually difficult to rank them...i'm happy with all of them.
The risk for Cook is getting them to gel, but considering we are signing other clubs best players in this league we really should be a force to be reckoned with next season. If it clicks we really could storm the league.
