I'd hardly say we're buying the league - merely making up for lost time from our time in Seventh Evans

Probably with fees received we have spent very little..apart from wages of course, but when you factor our first team squad of 75 last season, we are probably balancing the books

The only Muff in Town.

I think our net spend is still around £1m, if Downes and Jackson were to leave we could feasibly break even which is staggering considering the significant upgrade in squad quality.

We haven't bought the league because we haven't won anything yet.

We are cutely assembling a very impressive squad though.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

I guess that depends on how much we have to pay someone to take Jackson off us?

I honestly don't see us getting any takers for Jackson - if he's not sold by the end of the window, I wouldn't be surprised to see a "mutual terms" situation.

Not sure that’s true, we brought in £1m for Dozzell according to reports but other than that the sales will be nominal

Whereas coming in Edmundson is reported to be at the £1m mark, whilst Fraser, Burns and Harper will all be in 6 figures, plus Hladky in all likelihood. Fraser inparticular at the top end of that

It’s a decent investment already by League One standards and looks set to increase further - and one which is long overdue quite frankly
