It's harsh because as fans we know what its like to face doomsday scenarios but equally hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah we hate Derby.....

The iffy accounting, the ground sale, Rooney, Cocu etc... its hard not to take pleasure (the Germans have a word for this exact feeling don't they? schidenfunuer or something?

I've never hated Derby. Like West Ham and Forest, they are a proper old school 1970's club.

Sone Aluko, Richard Stearman and Tom Carroll are all on trial there at the moment.

Yeah, I don't really get the Derby antipathy. "They had dodgy owners who spent money they didn't have" isn't really a reason to dislike a club. Not like our supporters weren't continuously demanding we do the same.

And their fans backed them season after season to offset the spending, they consistently posted crowds in the 25-30,000 range. I don't take any particular pleasure in seeing a proud old club with a loyal fanbase being put through this.

Reading are a different story.

Wonder if any of their players fancy a pop down this way and a chance to play decent football for a decent club again...

Wouldn't mind Buchanan or Max bird here

Living in Nottingham between the ages of 14-25 amongst Forest and Notts County fans you learn to dislike the Derby fans to be fair

Personal opinion of course akin to my hatred of the Budgies

I literally feel no sympathy for them.
Championship bully boys trying to flash the cash and its clearly worked wonders for them.

This seems very familiar to "green shoots"

Yep, and more than just spending they've been flashing the cash beyond their means by sleight of hand with their finances. I have no sympathy with the owner, but I do feel for the fans. It's not their fault they have that sort of owner any more than it was our fault we had Evans.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

A good point. Their support has always been decent. And as always it’s the fans who suffer when the suits in charge fook it all up

Their fans went through a period of incredible arrogance for a few seasons which wound a lot of other fans up.

It does seem a little success goes to the head of most fanbases though and they quickly forget their history. It will probably happen to us if we go up and make a decent start in the Championship.
