Ordered our Burton tickets.

Now it really seems like the season is starting.

Just got to book the train now!

Booked our train yesterday - will get the match tickets tomorrow.

£29.70 return from Euston ain’t too shabby I thought. Arrives at 12:17 so plenty of time for the pub

Got ours straight away as well.

I still need to book our train but was wondering the best route to be taking from Ipswich cost wise? I can't seem to find any tickets within reasonable price.. which is odd, I normally use trainline.

Any suggestions?

Never book train tickets in advance! (Unless its months in advance).

The ticket office will be able to work out the cheapest fare for you, often booking several singles between stations.

I always save loads at my local station doing that!

You realise the ticket office will give you the cheapest on that day? Which will be more than buying now through Trainline (they automatically give you the cheapest). Buying in advance for trains is much cheaper long term.

This.

Also getting them in advance means we save time not having to queue at the station ticket office which for us is always very busy.

We may still drive so undecided whether we want to travel on the train with masks on or on our own without.

Just done mine, it feels a very long time ago ordering tickets for Bristol Rovers away.

Quite glad I still had a good weekend in Bristol as I didn't do much for the following three months.
