How's everyone doing after GW2? I'm ranked 2.2m which is average but I was terrible at the start last season and ended up 451k overall so in comparison it's a half decent start.
It's going to be much harder to keep premium players this year. Last season it was possible to have Salah and Fernandes then rotate 2 of Kane, Son and De Bruyne. With the price rises, getting 3 of them is a push this year, let alone 4. Plus with Lukaku in the mix it might require buying and selling a few of them to target the fixtures. |  |

At about 1.7m th. Sticking with Fernandes and Salah for another week, then if they blank again I will be looking at a couple of changes and getting Lukaku. Hoping Ings carries on and Toney makes a mark soon. | | | |

After spending 100 points last season in extra transfers, I promised I wouldn’t spend any points this year on transfers.
So it doesn’t bode well that I’ve used my wildcard a few days ago as I felt Antonio, Benrahma and Gray all need to be in whilst they’re cheap enough. And I wanted Lukaku in. To do that, I had to have a whole shuffle and changed the majority of my team. Gone for an incredibly cheap defence, a midfield of Jota, Salah, Fernandez, Gray and Benrahma with Antonio and Lukaku leading the line up front. The Watford new striker is my bench option should I need it.
For once, I’m happy with my team. For a few weeks at least.
One of my best mates (the Arsenal fan at the Etihad today mentioned on a different thread) has been playing it competitively for years. In a few £50 to enter leagues and a few other expensive ones. He listens to paid podcasts on it too to ‘gain an edge’. In fairness, he does always win (or go close) in our mini league of about 25 people so he can at least justify such a spend. |  |

As we've now got a couple of tickets for the opening day of next season riding on the prestigious TWTD Fantasy League I'll be closing down the ability to join the League Saturday morning so those that have been involved from the start can't be overly sabotaged with the chance of winning
