Woolf has a real battle for his place if we bring in another decent CB.

Some more promising signs though. Once we're full strength with players back I think we'll be fine.

Truly impaired.

Odd to pick woolf out as the issue and even odder to find promising signs from that

Woolfie is NOT a first team CB. He’ll be back up at best,

hard to judge on radio, were there positives?

individually a few sounded ok, which I guess until they gel is how it'll be?

That's the bulk of the team minus a couple of injuries.

The bench looked weak too.

We still need 6 players based on first two games/injuries

The owners will have a points tally in there head after so many games then decide what to do.

It was dire. Only promising sign was dobra and he was subbed off. Edwards looks a class above anything we have seen for years.

There really weren't any green shoots and the better side won

No idea what he's said but there were positives.

Edwards and Dobra look good. Taking Dobra off was odd IMO.

The penalty was crap. Staggered run ups would be banned if I was the manager.

Barry didn't really get going. We missed Norwood.

Truly impaired.

First half they shaded it, second half we were the better team.

Not sure why Ipswich Crazy has to found in that to object to.

Bar one slip (when to be honest his team mates should have called man on) he played well today. Stood tall against a very robust forward line.

Evans, Penney, Piggot and Barrie were the ones that didn’t do much.

Woolf was poor again today, can't see him keeping his place in the team. It has to be Edmundson and the new signing as first choice. The whole defence looked shaky though.

Shame we couldn't sort out the defence before the season started.

Edwards on the other hand looks a real player.

In all fairness, 'best ITFC player called Edwards' is quite a low bar to clear.

We played it round reasonably well in spells. Woolf generally had a good game I thought. Our biggest issue seems to be the defensive shape off the ball. We get caught out really quickly with not enough cover in front of the back four, not helped by both fullbacks bombing on. Having said that, Woolf won a lot of his battles against a pretty rapid and physical striker. We're just not making teams work for their goals.

Edwards looked good when he came on and nearly scored a worldie.

That ultimately came down to 2 penalties. Fraser fluffed his and Burton took their chance. I thought fraser was fairly poor all round, but Mathie seems to think he had a good game. Harper was a bit iffy too, but grew into it. Evans generally good, but needs to keep it simple. Dobra showed a few flashes, but ultimately meaningless. Barry not in the game at all except for winning the pen. Donacien solid enough. Penny a bit lacking technically. KVY is no longer quick.

I think some see what they want to see when it comes to Woolfenden now, rather than what’s actually happening on the pitch.

Funny how we all see the game differently, isn’t it.

I thought Penney played well (apart from giving away the pen), thought Evans did alright too. Woolf should have been out closing down Akins for their first goal after he took a heavy touch, he should never have been allowed to slip it in for Powell, but that and the slip playing out in the second half aside he did okay. Thought Donacien played well alongside him to be fair.

Edwards was the big positive today for me - looked a real player after he came on.

I thought Penney did OK too, he has a good engine and keeps running. Nothing spectacular but plenty of effort. Defended well against bigger opponents at times

I was on the terraced bit and Edwards was very impressive when he came on. He'll be starting soon enough.

Fraser is a classy player.

Dobra is an all or nothing type of player. His first touch either gets him out of trouble or into trouble.

Defense was suspect. More aggression needed and Wolfie has to keep switched on.

Harper and Evans didn't dominate midfield.

Piggot feeding on scraps.

The referee was atrocious. Equally so for both teams.

Missed opportunity in this game. Missed pen and a wonder save from the Burton keeper.

We have good individual players, but we're far from a good team at the minute

No idea what you are seeing in fraser so far. Very very patchy and struggling to get in the game. Doesn't mean he won't be class but he hasn't showed it yet

The ref was fine but seemed to be used as an excuse for the fans in the 2nd half while Evans threw himself around. I don't think he did a lot wrong.

I do not get why we're playing Fraser out wide when his favoured position is a number ten.

The ref was blowing for the slightest touch. It's a contact game and loads of the decisions were extremely soft. Burton fans thought he was crap too.

Fraser has a bit of elegance about him. Enjoyed watching him today.
