They are pulling the RoI down as well ( Donegal has 5 times the national rate ).

Not just NI. Scotland is recording almost double the number of cases on the same day as last week for the past 4 days.

Scotland had freedom day last Monday. England’s cases halved in the weeks after freedom day. And Scotland still has mandatory masks.

Isn't it a case now though that it's here to stay and will peak and drop every year so we just have to get on with it.

And Tyrone reset the race for Sam.

Donegal’s proximity to Derry is a big factor.

I see we’re at 83% adult vaccination and are now ordering only Pfizer and Moderna. Seems to be a good take up on the teenagers as well.

Still not out of the woods though.

Serious question. Are there any figures to show percentage of tests that are positive. A friend has been explaining to me that 25% of tests in Florida produce a positive result which is 5 times higher than the number of positive tests in UK. Total cases alone do not give a full picture as the more you test the more you find including a high number not showing any symptoms.

Off to Donegal for a weekend music break in January. Figures for Strabane & Derry are very high at the moment.

The South has four times the population but approx the same number of daily cases at the moment as the North.

There was a significant jump in figures here last Christmas so if that pattern repeats, numbers Will be high in January. Donegal has always been up there numbers wise. A very beautiful County though.
