Hardly a scapegoat, when it was his constant lies* that had so many voting for him, his incompetence over brexit negotiations (NI protocol), his failure to take action early on with covid, failure to close down soon enough once the pandemic had spread.

* the lies that now have farmers, hauliers, exporters, fishermen, DUP all badly losing out

that had him state on the steps on No 10 in July 2019 that he already had a plan to "fix the crisis in social care once and for all"

Johnson neither is, nor will be, a scapegoat any more than Marcus Evans is a scapegoat for the failings of the previous 13 years
