A note about the ref 20:22 - Aug 21 with 1092 viewsDurovigutum

Very good, well done sir. Think the yellow card five minutes in really made the players concentrate on playing football and cut out most of the silliness.

TBF he was the best ref we have had at Portman Road since falling into league 1

Straight after that early booking I said "its good to see the ref has some balls today"

Agreed, you hardly noticed him - always the sign of a good ref

Since we were relegated to League One that ref was promoted to the Championship.

Although Dean Lewington seemed to have an issue with him at half time.

Best ref we've had in ages. Maybe was sold a dummy by Darling when he turned into Tom Daley for one moment in the second half before missing a similar push on Evans(?) who made the mistake of not flinging himself over, but otherwise did a very good job.

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

It was a push on Evans
TBH I was more annoyed with the linesman who would have had a much better view

I know it's a different angle than the OP but did we make the most of putting that defender under pressure afterwards?

Poll: Is Jeremy Clarkson misogynistic, racist or plain nasty?

Agreed. Come very few and far between at this level, and we don’t half critique them on poor performances.

A deserved well done - fairly anonymous which I always think is a good sign of a ref.
