His problem is that he still thinks of himself as a £100k a week player, and most clubs aren't going to touch him for that investment.
I read Ornstein's article with him and he came across as a genuine bloke who has had a dramatic fall from grace, and he clearly still wants to play football, but he needs to lower his salary expectations, reading between the lines of that interview he still garners the passion for the game, but not to the extent that he would play for a tenth of his previous salary.
