Going to go to my first game post-COVID next week (wow look at me), but would like to get there early and watch the crowd enter, look around, get to see the players warming up.
I used to turn up 5 mins before every week and want to soak it up (+ it will help remove the final few nerves I think).

Good on you mate.
I know a lot of people like to go to the pubs and wander in last minute. I'm not really a drinker and I have always liked getting there early and just chatting through the build-up.
There have been a couple of away games that I've been to with other groups, and we've turned up right as the teams are kicking off and I hated it. Felt like half the day out was missed. Fulham away back in 2015, can't remember the score but we missed the first 10 minutes due to missing a train, and consequently missed goal(s?). The worst
