Women win 4-0 17:14 - Sep 5 with 995 viewsScottCandage

2nd half goals for Maddie Biggs, Natasha Thomas, Zoe Barratt and Lucy O'Brien.

We stay in first place level on points with Southampton, but they won 9-0 (for the second week in a row) against Hounslow today, and now have a +25 goal difference (we are +15). So the goal for the women is clear:

BEAT SOUTHAMPTON! (December 12 away and, of course, last day of the season April 17 at home - THIS would be a great match to hold at Portman Road)

Southampton? Pah! They've conceded a goal.

It'll be a tough route to get promoted. As you say they'll have to win this league, then a play-off with the northern division for the one promotion place available.

It's the sort of situation where one bad afternoon can destroy the entire season.

It’s not impossible but we could go entire season unbeaten, finish 2nd miles ahead of 3rd and not get a sniff of promotion due to goal difference.

Woman’s pyramid below super league needs a thorough review and resetting, a lot of up and coming clubs ( ourselves, Southampton and Wolves ) would be comfortable in the championship.
