Noggin posted on TWTD. There was nothing on TWTD to warrant such a post. There hasn't been one negative word about her on here.
Why not go and tackle racism somewhere where there's actually been some? That's the thing though isn't it, as with so many of you it's not really about racism but more about maintaining your smug sense of superiority. Noggin posted it for a pat on the back from all the usual suspects. If he really cared he could go to Twitter and tweet some genuine racists who aren't hard to find.
You pretending you can't see what we're saying is just pathetic but of course you are just defending someone from all the racists on TWTD and if anyone dares suggest that Noggin's post was needless and pointless then they are defending racists.
Go back and read my posts from about a month ago. I said someone makes an issue where there was no issue, people react and then the cavalry storms in to spin it and explain why it was actually needed. Over and over. This site has next to no racism because it's always stamped out incredibly quickly by a largely self policing board (supported by fast acting admins obviously) which is amazing for a site this size.
You lot just endlessly try and look down on anyone who doesn't go seeking offence around every corner and spend every waking moment trying to score internet points.

That’s certainly fair enough re: tolerance for racists.
I don’t think it’s intentional but I found the reaction to noggin’s post on the grounds of divisiveness or unnecessarily political pretty hypocritical and one-sided. The underlying point is sound and worthy of discussion.
Maybe it’s my perspective on the left but it seems entirely fair comment and I don’t get where the divisiveness complaint comes from. These are people we don’t have to protect from this, surely? |  |

I care about overt racism, systemic racism and the sort of casual xenophobia that passes for serious discussion nowadays in our newspapers and in our politics. It’s an absolute cancer in our society and dominated our politics when we should have been talking about real stuff, and solving problems for real people.
I think I just see it differently from you and others. That certainly explains why people can get agitated by this – you don’t see the justification for it, but I do.
