It would have to be a real disaster for him to go now after Ashton showing such faith in him oh whoops we’re losing 2-5 at home to Bolton

The new manager will have a couple of months to work with them before the next transfer window. Players say things like "I would only drop down for this club/manager/training facilities" but ultimately they will play well for a manager who manages them well.
