The time is now.

For League Two?
Agree that Cook is walking a tightrope but this love-in with Dyer is sentimental tosh.
He’s done nothing in coaching to warrant that level of trust.
And much as I love Burley, he has been out of the game way too long.
If Cook goes, I suspect we won’t appoint a young up-and-coming manager. It would represent a huge gamble for the board.

The thing is - There is noting to say that Dyer won't work. It is a bit more than sentiment. He's at the club, he loves the club and he has ambition.

We were crowing for Young and Hungry a few seasons ago. A manager has to start somewhere.

Admire your optimism but unfortunately there is absolutely nothing to suggest he will work either. Yes he has to start somewhere, but this is not where.

Dyer will have his time, just not yet. Burley had his time, move on.

Given our position in the league, I can't imagine our recruitment pool is that deep.

My own view on Dyer is neutral. If he was hired in, I would support him with gusto - but I can't really see any glaring reasons why he would, or wouldn't be right.
