Covid cases dropping 16:09 - Sep 13 with 7075 views | Trequartista | The opposite of what was predicted when schools returned even with increased testing. Just as they dropped dramatically when we lifted restrictions (100k new cases a day “inevitable” they said). No one has a clue what is happening do they?

Covid cases dropping on 16:58 - Sep 26 by Nthsuffolkblue | Hope you too stay well. I presume you have had significant time between each positive test (isn't it something like 3 months or it is considered residue from the previous infection?). |
Yeah. Body seems to enjoy a 6 monthly covid positive week swear it's trying to find a way to get me

Covid cases dropping on 17:03 - Sep 26 by WeWereZombies | I hope that this is just that heavy cold bug that is going around but if not then hope that, as you say, the vaccinations mean that you do not get Covid-19 to the extent that you would have done this time last year. And it is worth pointing out in relation to Trequartista's assertion in the OP, and as a reminder to keep mask wearing and hand washing and social distancing, that the United Kingdom currently stands fourth in the table of cases of Covid to date, eighth in Covid deaths to date, second in active cases and nineteenth in severe/critical cases at present. The per capita figures are not encouraging either - twenty fourth in cases and twenty fifth in deaths. Worldwide the daily deaths and daily cases are still ahead of where they were last year, peaks and troughs in the patterns of the graphs but no sign of teh spread abating at present. |
Before my lateral flow this morning I was thinking it was. The lateral flow was pretty clear (not just a feint positive). I would be pretty surprised if the PCR is not positive as well.

Had all the same symptoms on holiday this week. Temp of 101, sore throat, runny nose, aches etc etc Had a PCR test out of caution as had no LFTs with me and it was negative. 3 year old had something similar last week and again, test was negative. Doctor said there is a really bad virus going round that isn’t Covid
