a very promising youth teamer the other night. I won’t say who but he was absolutely glowing about Paul Cook. Could not praise the man enough for he has raised the standards, raised the spirits and genuinely gives each youngster his personal time. Cook, Jeffers and Dyer are always offering advice to the young pros are always friendly and approachable. “The atmosphere has never been better” is what he said to me.
I won’t pretend I wasn’t surprised but I’m delighted for Cook today and genuinely want him to succeed here. A top coach and a really top man. COYB [Post edited 18 Sep 2021 19:18]

Although it’s great to hear, the bar wasn’t very high for the feel good factor for the past 5 years. That’s said I heard virtually the same when Lambert started.
