Based purely on watching the Quest highlights, so I appreciate that doesn't tell the whole story, but the quality of teams and the football they are playing seems to have gone up several notches in the last couple of seasons.
I remember watching the highlights last seasons, and time after time, team after team, you would see comedy defending leading to goals - not seeing that so much now, just confident, attractive, technical football from most teams.
Just an observation.

Bolton were playing some with some lovely shape and intent against us… and had 3 or 4 really good players
Look at Wigan
I thought MK Dons and Burton showed some quality against us also

I still think that, whilst there may be quality elsewhere in this division, that even with the slightly off centre defensive recruitment we should still have more than enough to go up this year. The question is if we can be one of the best three teams, rather than simply have quality individuals. | |
