Big corporate b*llying.
Really hope B*llards prevail against the B*llsh*t .

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

Redbull will back down. Not a chance of succeeding and their lawyers will know it.

What is this about, are Red Bull suing a Bollard company?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Although…

“ The Bullards name was revived in 2015, with the company focusing on gin”

I’m not going to claim to be an expert on copyright law, but as a layman you’d have to be a madman to think Bullards and Red Bull are somehow similar. Ludicrous

Highlighting crass stupidity since sometime around 2010

The Budweiser dispute is an interesting one. There has basically been a legal argument over trade marks in every beer market in the world.

At face value it's "local craft distillery versus multinational behemoth".

But when you actually read it...

RB aren't trying to stop them making gin under the name B's, but within the trademark application B's want to include energy drinks, he certainly the legal action.

It will be settled out of Court, smiles all round, and lots of free PR for both companies, as mentioned by others in the thread. Blatant, so I'm not going to type their name out!

Closer to home, and less alcoholic (although only a bit in the case of Budweiser), the recent trademarking attempt by Oatly backfired spectacularly:
