Never Lost At Home... 10:09 - Sep 21 with 4893 viewsitfcjoe

....I'm sure everyone who is going to see this on here has booked tickets - but if you haven't and are as yet undecided it is really worth doing.

Most shows have tickets in £10-£15 range as well - it's a really great show and I know people can write more eloquent reviews than i can on this - but take my advice and go and see it if you haven't!

Got tickets earlier in the summer, going this Friday, if it’s half as good as our blue heaven, then it’ll be worth it. I found it quite emotional last time, I’m sure I will this time as well. My era musically as well, so we’re really looking forward to it!

Saw it on Friday, the actor portraying Sir Bobby is phenomenal.

I was there for the second time last night. Chatting to a group of friends who have been following Town since the 50s /60s afterwards, they all loved the show, and there was a general feeling that it is even better than OBH. I think I agree with them... It is unmissably brilliant.

Have tickets for Monday evening.

As already said, Blue Heaven was brilliant, so hopefully this will be as good!

Took 6 grandchildren, some of whom follow the Town and some who had to have it all explained beforehand i.e. the how, what and why of the U.E.F.A. Cup. All of them loved it, especially the band who played and sang the eighties hits - and the surprise guest appearance ????

It's a bit of a trek down there on a school night so going to take advantage of the streaming option tonight. Saw OBH and loved it and I know it won't be quite the same but this option hopefully will be a good substitute

I like that actually, good idea.

I’ll have a play about with designs when I get a chance and see what the others think.

Have just got back from watching it tonight. It was excellent! The acting (especially the chap playing Sir Bobby) music and story were all fantastic and I found it very emotional too. Makes you so proud of being an Ipswich fan and what we achieved. Highly recommended and far surpassed my expectations. For those that can’t get to see it or live too far away you can live stream it. All details for doing so on The Wolsey Theatre website.

Johnny Wark and Russell Osman came on stage at the end to a standing ovation. Absolute scenes and not a dry eye in the house!!

Slightly biased as work at The New Wolsey, and partially involved in both shows, but Never Lost At Home is brilliant, both for those who were there and whose memories and tears will come flooding back, and those younger to gain an understanding how amazing that team was. Great people, great music, great night out.

Come see or livestream.
