Fancied a day at the cricket before it all finishes for the season, 25 wickets in the day. Really good day out, cost me Â£13 for the day and Â£16 for the train. Pity it's the last game of the season, going to be doing this a lot more next year.

Think it's safe to say Essex are in the wrong group! They ballsed it up by starting the season slowly. Were playing catchup after that.

Think it's safe to say Essex are in the wrong group! They ballsed it up by starting the season slowly. Were playing catchup after that.

Hopefully it goes back to 2 divisions next year, this season's set-up has been awful. Lose a couple of games early on then you're stuck in division 2 or 3 this season.

Just the way the ECB want it, now if they could contrive a way for $urrey to be in Div 1 they’d be right chuffed.

Current Div 1 is

Hampshire
Warwickshire
Lancashire
Notts
Yorkshire
Somerset

Somerset have no place taking up a test teams ground! That div 1 is about as perfect as can be for ECB. Essex ruined the last few years by winning!
