Instead of posting on here, surely there is the equivalent of AA set up out there to deal with this obsessive, sycophantic addiction to fawning over a grotty old man you don't know and will never meet. Stop dodging and answer the point. He’s an “antisemite” who’s still in the party. Why exactly?

That’s the opinion of 85 % of the British Jewish community. I always go with giving the victims of racism the say over what defines racism they receive. It was the cornerstone of the McPherson report.

Put it this way, if you were to spend a month on a desert island with Boris an Jezza I very much doubt your first words on leaving the island would be 'feck me that Jeremy is a shocking racist'.

The cornerstone of McPherson was that organisations like the police are duty bound to investigate racism complaints as defined by the victim and not by themselves. It’s not for the victim to unanimously declare racism has occurred and case closed. You’ve blurred this line frequently in the past. So has there been an investigation into Corbyn? If not, why not? And if there has why is Corbyn still a member?

I know you have strong and very admirable views on racism but you must know that the Jewish community isn't the only victim of racism and that some of us may have been better off/felt safer not living under such a racist prime minister?

I suggest you read David Baddiel’s book “Jews Don’t Count”. It explains perfectly how some people are happy to accept racism against Jews as an inconvenience if it helps what they perceive to be the greater good.

I did have a bit of a look at it a while ago. You could easily suggest it's no different then how islamophobia, homophobia an Traveller hatred is being ignored/seen as an inconvenience by those believing it helps what they perceive to be the greater good. I personally don't think either is acceptable ( and am sure you believe the same)

I agree 100% with you. But whereas I would expect a person of Afro Caribbean decent to be more vocal about the racism that affects them the most, such as Windrush, and members of the Muslim community to be especially concerned about Islamophobia, that doesn’t mean they aren’t also concerned about other issues of racism. This is no less so to somebody like myself who is of Jewish heritage and has a wife who is half Jewish. But we really shouldn’t be in a position where the choice fro PM is very racist and the other is only a little bit selectively racist. We should want better.

Because there isn’t any evidence to show he’s an antisemite or even broke any codes of conduct.

So, genuine question in return, why do you think no-one can answer this? Is Corbyn actually not a antisemite after all, nor has he engaged in spreading antisemitic tropes etc. and therefore can’t be suspended, investigated or expelled? Or he is/has and Starmer and Labour are not cracking down on antisemitism? It’s a pretty simple either/or.

the reason for corbyn being suspended, and for the whip still being removed, is that he rubbished the ehrc report on the day it was published. that was bringing the party into disrepute. that and his failure to tackle anti-semitism when he was leader seems a good reason to kick him out. i suspect the reason no one has answered your question is because it is stupidly slanted. we've discussed 'is corbyn an anti-semite?' until most people have lost the will - the consensus is that he consistently turned a blind eye to, enabled, encouraged and stood along side anti-semites. it was a failure of leadership. the case for kicking him out doesn't rest on proving any particular incident of anti-semitism - it is his abject failure to deal with the problem as evidenced by the ehrc report.
| And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show |

But he’s not being kicked out, investigated and the ad hoc suspension was overturned immediately on review. So you haven’t answered the questions. Why isn’t he being kicked out or investigated? Or is Starmer himself now turning a blind eye to antisemitism under his watch? It’s very simple and shouldn’t take hours to answer or repeated shonky diversions.

you obviously think this is a very cunning line. well done you. he still has the whip suspended. lets see what the forde report finds. i assume starmer is waiting for that.

This would be the same enlightened individual who ‘blacked up’ & put a pineapple on his head to mock a black footballer on his seedy little tv show? As always, your selective anti racism act is built upon self-serving hypocrisy and pitifully ignorant double standards.

Looks like another duck. Quack quack. The whip is of course within the discretion of the leadership. And coincidentally and conveniently removing it away doesn’t demand any evidence or investigation. But well done for actually demonstrating how many of the accusations were manufactured and exaggerated.

Based on your bombshell revelation that you think inactivity on Corbyn’s “antisemitism” is down to Labour’s Head of Disputes ... So it’s Starmer and the Labour Party still not taking antisemitism seriously in your mind? I thought it was “zero tolerance”? Surprising that the usual suspects aren’t making any noise about it now. Literally, not a whisper. Something doesn’t add up. Not that it ever did.

You are digging a massive hole for yourself here koonters. You are saying that the absolute boy hasn't been suspended from the Labour party due to lack of evidence. This suggests that you therefore agree that those who were suspended for antisemitism met the evidence threshold required. This is where life get's uncomfortable for you old friend. Pete Willsman were suspended for antisemitism based on reaching the evidence threshold. You publicly posted on here that agreed with and defended one of the antisemitic statements he made that got him suspended. https://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/459669/page:1 Do we really want people on here supporting and defending antisemites. If you were a member of the Labour party you would have been suspended. [Post edited 24 Sep 2021 11:38]
