Are tickets almost sold out? Is it going to be a sellout? Towns email blast seems to frame it that way

There is no chance of it being a sellout. We only get close to those with exceptional games like the budgies in the championship play offs or Arsenal in the league cup semis.

On the ITfC websit they say they are expecting over 20K.

I wouldnt be surprised if it was around 22K

My best mate and her sister (an Ipswich fan as she now answers if asked) are coming to the game Saturday. So that’s at least two more than the norm.

swede family outing to Portman Road on Saturday. Six of us irregulars will be there so no updates from me in the chat room this week.

Three generations will be there so I think I brought them up well!
My first ever third division match :(

....just stand on the centre spot, drop his pants, bend over and insert the Stars & Stripes up his bumhole, while the crowd chant "USA! USA! USA!".

What a club.

Forgot to tag them on Twitter. Rookie mistake. Thinking May for the play off final.

No chance. I doubt we would even sell out against Norwich right now. It wouldn’t be far off, but we didn’t last time we hosted them.

I’ll go for 20,460 on Saturday. Anything over 20k is a great attendance to be fair, especially considering how we’ve done. I know it’s early days and there are plenty of reasons for optimism but the harsh reality is we’re 20th in the 3rd tier with only 1 (arguably fortuitous win).

This is Cook’s biggest game so far IMO, I really think backing up Saturday with a home win could be huge for our season. The impact it could have shouldn’t be underestimated. If I’m being greedy another clean sheet too would be lovely, we need to demonstrate we can consistently defend like we did last week. The early season evidence was that we had become like a short blanket, once you fix one end the other becomes problematic. It would be lovely to see is both attacking and defending well in a nice home win.

No chance. Hopefully we're in the process of getting new fans in to replace those lost throughout the Evans era, but that's not going to happen overnight. As others have said anything over 20k is decent in the circumstances.

Surely they'll all be screaming 'in the hole'?

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.
