We have cover for both in Harper and Woolf.

If I'm honest, Evans has impressed me the least of all our new signings. Early days I know.

It makes a change to have some real quality in the cover we have for these injuries, doesn’t worry me at all, as long as we don’t get so many and the ones that are out aren’t long term absentees.

I actually think the player we really don't want injured now is Donacien

Indeed. We seem to have like for like cover in every position. Fantastic recruitment from Ashton and Cook.

When you look at our squad we've pretty much got two decent players for every position. Whomever is missing tomorrow, it gives someone else their opportunity to stake their claim for a starting spot. Our squad has depth and proven quality, so we shouldn't be overly concerned when a player is out injured, ill, suspended etc.... we've got good enough players to come in and do the job which is something we haven't had in recent seasons.

Fairly certain it isn't Bonne. He has trained all week.

I think it's Evans.

If Cook has any sense it'll be Evans with a 'groin strain'.

I reckon Fraser. Unless I’ve missed reports of him training as normal this week.

Looked very much like he overstretched and tweaked/tore something towards the end on Saturday. Hopefully minor, but if you get that discomfort during a game and when the adrenaline is already pumping then possibly needs an actual recovery first.

I've seen pics of Fraser in training this week so I doubt it's him. Evans has been missing from this week's training photos. I'd suggest it's him. If we were comfortably winning last weekend I think he'd have been subbed after his knock.

Good to know, thanks.

I think taking Evans out of the firing line works anyway. He’s looked desperately out of form and overly eager to turn it around.

My worry is that Evans, for all that he's missing tackles, losing 50-50s etc. is at least contesting them. Harper and Carroll might not even offer that.

I wonder if he's been carrying something anyway? He looked off the pace last week for sure.

True. And I hope so because that should be easier to fix.
