Following on from the news that the US are going to reopen to the UK for travel, the missus wants to go to New York for ThanksGiving.

A quick search today and I’ve found some very reasonable flights and hotel. We’re both double jabbed with Pfizer, so should be alright on that front. According to the below: “ Mr Zients said fully vaccinated passengers will not be required to quarantine.”

I know we have some US based fans on here, anybody else booked/booking to go? The exact date hasn’t been set yet, just “early November”, so I would like to hope we should be fine for ThanksGiving.

My mum is planning to come here early December. Hopefully things will not get worse by then. As it stands, proof of being double jabbed and a negative test within 3 days of leaving and should be good. Wearing a mask for an 8 hour flight is not ideal but what you gonna do?
