Five home games, zero wins 16:58 - Sep 25 with 656 viewsHerbivore

Not including the two cup games, which would take us to seven home games and no wins. Really has to be 3 points on Tuesday now. Think many of us said that 7 points was the minimum this month and even then it would leave us with ground to make up, have to beat Donny to get to that 7 points now.

My remit from the second 5 games was 2 wins and 2 clean sheets. Tuesday we need to win with a clean sheet to meet that minimum. Quite possible we can do that.

Still not convinced we are moving in the right direction but let's see.

Clean sheets utterly meaningless if you're winning.

Truly impaired.

Agreed, nothing other than a win will be good enough.

Yep 7 points were minium requirement from these.

Sheff wed you'd imagine will be up there when they get their players back, so a point isn;t the end of the world. But frustrating with the chances Bonne had.

Completely different team, but similar team disconnect and results as last season. There's no way we're making anything up. This is bang on normal under Cook by the looks of it.

Donny are in terrible form, conceded late to lose today all the way down in Plymouth so a long old journey back to stew on it. It's a game we should win but there's added pressure on it now after failing to win today. We've got to start building a bit of momentum.

Yes, but it was the fact our defence had been conceding 2 goals a game and then conceded 5. By keeping clean sheets it shows that side of the game has been improved. You won't lose if you keep a clean sheet and it takes a lot of pressure off the attack. The clean sheet against Lincoln was a huge step forward. But we need to follow it up with more. We really should be able to keep clean sheets in more than 10% of our matches at League 1 level, even playing an attacking brand of football.

It's all on how we follow up on this really. 1-1 today is an OK result. The attacking performance was weaker today, but we've looked fairly resilient defensively for a second tricky match in a row. Wednesday scored from a half chance and generated very little apart from that.

We've pulled out of the nose dive, kept the show on the road (just!) and hopefully will look a bit more dominant in centre midfield from Tuesday onwards.

Last minute draw today just about means we can point to a faint bit of momentum — but you are right, anything bar win on Tuesday is simply not an option, no excuses, we have to get up and running now. On its own four points vs Lincoln and Sheff W is fine but we've ground to make up.

These 2 recent results are 'norm; for a side competing. However as you say Tuesday has to end with 3 points, nothing less will do in the grand scheme of it all

7 points off play offs, that has to be the first aim now, get to those first.
