Matchday Ticket Prices - Block D 12:53 - Sep 28 with 1342 views | ParisBlue | I noticed that block D in the Cobbold stand are £47. The equivalent position in the opposite stand (block Y) is £36. So what's so special about block D?

Don't think it's Centre Spot, but they do have access to their own "exclusive" bar area, from memory.

Matchday Ticket Prices - Block D on 13:07 - Sep 28 with 1220 views | Zx1988 | I'd echo other posters' comments that it's not a fair comparison. D-block has better views, access to a private bar, and (unless it has changed since I was last in there) comes with a complementary programme, team sheet, and hot drink at half time. The only benefit that Y-block affords over and above other seats in the vicinity is padded seats.

Well yes, but available as part of silver membership (so for my £30 a year I can purchase a seat "worth" £47)

Please to hear this, as £47 for League 1 football with no perks would be a rip off.

Matchday Ticket Prices - Block D on 13:23 - Sep 28 with 1101 views | The_Snake | Superb view, 'free' programme/team sheet and hot drink at half time. Or if you want a beer, you can pre-order and it's waiting for you at half time. Two TVs with Skysports running and some comfy chairs if you're weary. Bar service is still slow at times so pre-order for half time if you don't want to neck it.

Correct , large bar that allows entrance and exit to section D , very nice and cosy they also used to serve foc tea & biscuits in there at half time , probably still do at £47 a pop ….lol

The seats have more legroom than the Director Box. Still not great, but they all have an extra 'block' on the ground separating each row of seats. I was front row in there for 20 years and it is the best view in the ground. It's also an 'interesting' place to be when the club gives the surrounding seats to away fans... As a kid I had 4 free season tickets near there that came with my mum's employers exec box. Some games you are surrounded. As a young lad I had a lit fag flicked at my head for cheering a goal and I saw a few fights
