The thing that I really loved about last night 11:33 - Sep 29 with 596 viewsArnieM

Was the way Town players were still on the front foot and full of running even at 90 mins. No
“ shutting up shop”, no endless passes back to the GK. we kept possession and constantly probed.
I think you can see our fitness levels really coming to the fore now and confidence levels growing massively . Even Haldky was confident enough to sell a dummy to a Donny attacker ( didn’t do my heart health much good at the time ) but loved the fact he’s starting to feel “ at home”, at this level . It’s been a big jump up for him .

Brilliant performance last night. Now we must go on and consolidate this on Saturday at AS, not an easy task but hopefully the players will have a spring in their step now .

I agree in part, but we very much settled for six in the end (how dare they). The last 6-7 mins was keep ball and we barely went near their box apart from the Harper shot.

Tbh it was a bit of blur as the goals kept flying in lol. But in days gone by if we’d scored we often tended to try and shut up shop - often very early in the game , usually with depressing end result .

But I’m a happy bunny like everyone else is today …. Saturday, we go again 👍
