When we were brave on the ball, we were the better team. Accrington pressed, we lost possession a couple of times and we stopped playing football. Too many of our players seem fragile in possession and resort to long balls or back passes and this plays right into the hands of aggressive teams such as AS and just invites more pressure. Only Morsi, Burns, Burns and Fraser had the confidence to be brave with the ball. I know Evans got a hat-trick on Tuesday but as soon as Carroll if fit, he needs to play alongside Morsi. |  |
