Who seem to be utterly reveling in our current position.

I said Cook was crap, I said the coaches are rubbish, I said the new owners are only in it for the money etc etc etc.

I do wonder if they get any joy out of football unless we are losing.

Imagine being disappointed with only ten points form ten games with an allegedly Championship standard squad in the third division.

There's quite a few of us disappointed, we just don't see the need to repeat it on here again and again.

We have to keep doing that because people keep saying things like 'iTs ThE pLaYeRs FaUlT' and 'wE NeEd MoRe TiMe On ThE tRaInInG gRoUnD' endlessly, so it needs pointing out that Free Hit Culture is why we ended up marooned here in the first place...

I don’t believe a single Town fan on here is “utterly reveling in our current position”.

The season promised so much and has delivered so little. We are all deflated by what’s going on.

Yeah, but we need time to gel doncha know. Also, just you wait til Morsy comes in and is the messiah that we have been waiting for. Oh and don't forget the football and match experience are a lot better too!

I take no pleasure in our ongoing (15 years?) of mediocrity.

I want our new owners and Cook to be successful. Our new owners have certainly backed Cook...he has a complete new squad and backroom staff but its not working.

Nothing really wrong with discussing and debating things.

maybe the voices are loud because they are ANGRY at the level of mismanagement. No because they are revelling in anything.

Evidently, Quilterstown is happy with being near the bottom of the third division with an expensively assembled side that can't defend.

I think rather than revelling in the current position, some on the board just aren’t prepared to be patient for Town success anymore (I guess after 20-odd years it’s understandable). There is no fundamental reason though why success HAS to happen this year. If we got promoted next season instead of this season for example, I don’t think the same people calling for change now would be saying ‘but it has no value because it wasn’t achieved in 2021-22’.

Be very surprised if there is any Town fan happy with our situation.

Thankfully not too many feel the need to constantly throw tantrums about it, and it’s just a small handful.

Whatever will be will be, we will have very little say on it.

It’s just football extending into life generally. A lot of people exist to oppose everything but that doesn’t mean they don’t genuinely want us to succeed. They might find it difficult to deal with if and when we do. Mind you I think all of us would!
