More goals for Pig and Chaplin last night 10:38 - Oct 6 with 2966 viewschicoazul

Surely now there’s a good chance one or both will start Saturday? It’s be harsh on whoever makes way but we are very reliant on Bonne for goals and it’d good to get some more threat up there. Pig gives you a bit more defensive stability from dead balls too.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Under MM Luke Varney was known as Reg, so their nicknames would of have been Lester and Charlie, but more likely they're probably Piggy and Chapers.

Up and mainly down, following Town since 88

Celina isn't available, so out of the 3 behind i think Chaplin did the most to get a start on Saturday in his place - going into the game you'd have expected Edwards but he didn't quite look ready yet.

I'd like to see El Miz ahead of Evans also, and as it is Shrewsbury at home here we will dominate the ball I'd get KVY and Woolf in there

Drop the Don?!

Errr, no.

RIP Sir Bobby

I just think they both give us totally different options on the ball, where Woolf may hold it for a bit long at times it is because he is trying to break a line or quicken up the play - it's easy to just put your foot through it and aim for Bonne - I don't expect him to come back in to the team anytime soon sadly though

I agree with Wolfy, I'd partner him with Burgess personally

KVY though, unless he's learnt from Donacien on when to and not to attack, he's a liability on the right side.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

I'm not saying I'm against him holding it for a bit of time but when he gets closed down he starts to look flustered and ends up just hoofing the ball which ends up giving it away or tries to roll it back to the keeper which then puts them under pressure. I'll probably get slaughtered for this but I think Toto is the better out of the two and I would rather seem him starting if either Burgess or Edmunson got injured.

I thought Toto played well last night, but think he needs to compete with Burgess for the 'stopper' role, I've not seen enough out of Edmundson to see what he really offers as yet - he doesn't seem to excel in any area but only seen him live a couple of times and one was a horror show so don't want to judge too quickly

I don't see Burgess as much of an upgrade on Toto as yet, but he is younger so you'd imagine has a higher ceiling

Didn't he play the ball through for Chaplin's goal?

Will give you that. Yes both didn't play quite as badly as I first thought on second viewing.

Chaplin at 10 and Piggott off the bench would be sound assumptions

Not sure if Chaplin is a 10, I don’t think he has a range of passing. With no Tequila this weekend I’d move Fraser in there and Chaplin coming in from the left. Take the point several have made about Fraser in this thread but 2 assists the most key passes very good passing stats in general and attracts the most fouls means he stays in for me.

Blimey. If Wolfenden gets flustered on the ball how would you describe Toto when under pressure with the ball at his feet? I think Edmundson and Burgess are our best pairing at this moment in time.
