Loans are very much a part of football now. I would imagine it is a fair while.

Bonne and Barry were on the bench, but the other loanees arrived later, as you say.

The season starts a few weeks before the transfer deadline and before the Premier League squads are finalised, so it probably happens fairly frequently. Last season, we had no loanees involved until October, for example.
