I knew this would happen. After our woeful start, quite a few said "give him til the end of September". That came and went, and then "give him til the end of October", and now that we've managed to get a point against mighty Cambridge, now it's November. Then Xmas, then the transfer window, then another wasted season in the Third Division. Cook has spent a lot of money making us worse than Lambert's side. Quite an achievement. |  | | |

McCarthy is never coming back.

Absolutely right, at least on the player side. I wouldn't shed a tear for the kitman's departure.
