Think there is great potential for having a joined up Upper / Lower section (4) singing section up top (eventually). Good demographic up there now Lower is sold out, and there is the roof there too.

Ironically too, in that setup, we are actually assembled in pretty much an identical position to the old North Stand.

Trouble with Lower behind goal + Section 2, is these seats have been taken up by people that have moved in over the last 10 years, not necessarily singers. The club cannot just turf them out as they have rightfully earn't they seats in good positions due to supporting the club through thick and thin.

So I reckon singers going upstairs is the way forward.

It really was a shame the neighbours stopped the KOP type stand plans. Think that would have made a massive difference.

The last 5 minutes v Fleetwood all 4 stands were singing so shows it can be done.

What we see on the pitch feeds through to the fans and the noise once we got the winner for 5 minutes was brilliant.

No doubt what happens on the pitch has a big impact on the noise from the fans, however, I am a big believer that fans can have a huge impact on the result of a match. I have seen it so many times where when the fans get behind the team singing a 'prolonged' song, for a 10-20 min period, where it progressively gets louder, it is almost always results in a goal being scored, and a victory.

This was often the case in the Burley days. A 15 minute 'Georgie Burleys Blue n white army' would spread round the ground, tempo of the team went up accordingly.

Good to see that most people are now singing “Paul Cooks blue & white army” rather than barmy army.

Funny you mention that, I was sure the new version was:

"Blue, RED (said straight after Blue!), (pause) and white army" !

But I now think it is :

"Blue AND (said straight after Blue), (pause) and "white army"

But I have not heard Paul Cooks blue & white army ...
