Medicane to hit Sicily 22:51 - Oct 27 with 639 views

Sicily has been at the forefront of climate issues this year. They got the highest every recorded temperature in Europe over the summer (48.8C) and now they are going to get hit by a "medicane".

Perhaps the Italian government should cut air passenger duty to show they are serious about tackling climate change affected the Mediterranean.

A medicane hit parts of Greece last Autumn.
Assos in Kefalonia was badly hit, as was Jerusalem beach on the Island which all but dissapeared.
One of my favourite places on planet earth. Not widely reported as the pandemic was taking centre stage at the time.
Scary stuff.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.
