Really not sure he's any upgrade on Kenlock - both can have decent moments going forwards but often get caught sleeping or out of position in defence which appears to have cost us so far today.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.
He hasn't had a good season. He's had an okay season. But he looks suspect.
We always blame the defence, we’ve missed some sitters this season too but some players are used as scapegoats and today it looks like it’s Penney’s turn

It's laughable that legitimate criticism of a player immediately draws the scapegoating card.
He's not been very good all season. Simple as that.

He is here to score goals, he is doing that, and it wins us points.
Matt Penney has been the most frequent presence in a defence that is proving consistently incapable of preventing the opposition from scoring, has offered little going forward by way of compensation, and was responsible on Saturday for yet another of the amateurish individual errors that has cost us points time and time again.
