Some of us are a tad irrational. I understand the emotions of football, but 12 hours ago everyone was optimistic about the season, now we’ve just suffered a very narrow defeat to the league leaders whilst plagued with last minute illness and it’s all cook out again.

What are you going on about?

I think the board has been quite positive actually.

I said before the Pompey game I wouldn’t be any more positive about Cook regardless of the result and I’m no different today. I hope he turns it around but based on his what 30 odd games so far it’s been the same patterns across umpteen players and I refuse to accept this is good enough for Ipswich Town. It doesn’t matter how much people go after those who are speaking up against Cook because we’re nailed on for a mid table finish and given the backing Cook had, it’s a total failure. He should go, I’d just prefer it now rather than when it’s mathematically impossible.

Does he really deserve another season if we don’t go up?

With the squad we have assembled this season has been nothing short of disgraceful. Even if you write off last season which everyone is quick and happy to do even though when he took over we were on the edge of the play offs he blatantly threw last season away in an attempt to do it his way this season. Anybody who is happy or content with him staying in the job needs their head seeing too. We have spent the league 1 equivalent of Man City when it comes to wages and fees and sit in Mid Table. This season has so far been a shambles end off!!

We had two out due to illness didn’t we? Not exactly biblical.

When continue to lose points and games from winning positions it’s a bit much to do this lazy sort of posturing.

Getting upset about something that's not really happening is very odd.
