Sadly he'll probably require a liver transplant. Fingers crossed for his recovery.

He should get onto the list pretty quickly, I'd imagine. He's young and in good shape and it sounds like he's been looking after himself, plus the medium to long-term rate of positive outcomes of transplants for primary sclerosis cholangtis are very good.

I personally have had 3 kidney transplants and he will be in the hands of the best surgeons in the world for organ transplants believe you me .
