£7!!! but I have to say, it was worth every penny, best football pie ever. Huge chunks of steak, deep filled, lovely gravy.

And FOUR goals for desert …. Can’t be bad 👍

They'd run out by the time we got to the front of the queue (and the second half had started). But a couple of packets of crisps and a Mars Bar brought two goals while munching, so not complaining.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Sadly yes, but I can live with Wycombe beating us on the pie front :)

Just makes you think. What has happened to football when a pie at a league one club costs you £7.

Crazy.

Not sure why the level of professional football should correlate with the price of a pie bought in a stand? It’s a good thing as presumably it’s better quality. Some of the stuff you see at grounds looks terrible.

that’s the problem…the portman pie is no more..at least not on the North Upper…replaced by a vastly inferior product….

Not sure I understand what ‘level’ you are referring to. Used to be a working man’s sport, now a pie and a soft drink is a tenner. Just seems a bit crazy to me, but that’s opinions for you.

That sounds superb, I could have enjoyed one of those

Sadly, the hot cupboard was bare by the time Mr Guthrum had got to the head of the queue, so just a gack bar, no hot savouries.

I am seriously thinking of getting a Thermos and tupperware box and bringing my own half time refreshments.....the huge queue for feck all is beginning to wear thin

I might even get a Tartan rug for my knees

I think I might be getting Old
