I've said it before and I'll say it again. Of all the Bombed out players last season, Dozzell was the one most desperately in need of some proper coaching, motivation and team structure around him. Cameo appearances under Mick aside, he's basically had none of that his whole senior career.

He was always capable of that. But one flash of brilliance per game, which often came to nothing, was of no use to us in the Third Division. Wish him well, but absolutely right for him to move on. |  |
