I could see absolutely no reason why anyone would even consider booing the like of Chambers, Skuse, Sears, Judge and co.
No matter what you thought of their abilities, and I didn't particularly rate them towards the back end of their time, nobody can ever deny that they didn't give everything to the club when they did cross the line - and that alone should bring them a good reception. |  | | |

Why would you? Nouble was bang average but there was no lack of effort from him. As for Sears, I would love to know what would have happened if we kept him as a striker.
Both deserve applause along with the rest of them. It's a token gesture for a group of players who put a lot of effort in but just weren't good enough. |  |
