Depends on league form somewhat I would think. If we’re flying on both fronts we’d easily sell 30k

I don't think I could handle a season where we win the ELF T, and finish 7th

Point of order:

Johnstone's Paint abbreviates to JP, not PJ.

That's what I think of it too.

Absolutely we would assuming it's about 35-40k

You seriously don't think we'd sell out when we've had not a jot of success or anything to cheer in 15 years and other than potential play-off finals is out only real feasible chance of playing at Wembley (the new version a Town team is yet to grace)

Exactly. Coventry took about 40k there a few years back.

It's not hypocrisy. It's called extended family. Wives and kids. My family and my brother have six season tickets between us. We'd probably rustle up twelve to sixteen interested in Wembley. If every ST did same we'd easily sell 40K

Well I was thinking it would be a chance to see some sort of ITFC team at Wembley and experience the stadium but now you point that out, I obviously won't bother.

Assuming everybody thinks the same way we will take around 5-6K.

That said, there is no way we make the final is there? How often does one of the Prem kids teams make it? Has one of them ever won it? Has it ever been between two of them? Do they get much of a crowd if they do? I guess it would depend which Prem team. Not that I am really that fussed.

I’d want us to sell out and I’d want everyone that can go to go but it would be hypocritical of some people that’s all.

No U21 team has won it or even made the final, yet.

When it comes to Wembley, I see it more as supporting the team rather than the Trophy. I don't care that the U21 get involved - what I do hate is the financial sanctions for teams that are forced to risk their first team during a stupid mini league phase.

IMHO, Make the trophy a pure knockout competition - not just a really sh*te love letter to the European competition format.

The FA Fup and EFL Cup have some European rewards at the end - why not add some incentive behind the cup, like a bi to the 3rd round in the next season's EFL cup.

My point is that, although I think it is an embarrassment that we are in the competition and I really would rather it didn't exist, should we get to the final, I would fancy going to Wembley to watch my team play at Wembley. I paid to watch the iFollow tonight. Would I bother with travelling 3 hours, the associated costs etc to have gone and watched if it wasn't on iFollow? No.

I don't see it as hypocritical if I went to the final. If it sold out to season ticket holders and those who have been to earlier rounds and I missed out I wouldn't complain either (but it wouldn't would it?). If we had a friendly against Sudbury arranged for Wembley, I would probably try to get tickets for the experience. Not because I have any special desire to see a friendly against Sudbury nor because I think we should be arranging one, but because seeing my team at Wembley would be an experience.

I've consumed a fair bit of Johnstone's paint in my time. There's not as much difference as you might think between the flavours.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
