Was thinking with all these new and old supporters coming to the games over the Xmas period, do we need to produce a 'digital' songsheet for them?
Just thinking out loud, if we gave them all a sheet (even digital download before the game? get the club to email it out?), then they would all know the words to the songs!
But if we are going to sell out, imagine if we could get both ends singing, it could be quite something.
After all, they do it in church, and this is OUR church!
Thoughts?
btw - I do think this is right up BlueAction's street, and they have the marketing prowess to do a good job of it (could be good PR for them, especially if they want to broaden their appeal - just saying!!)

It's interesting you mention what other people think. You're right it doesn't matter.
IF the side puts on performances to go with the crowds... this is advertising to the new owners and investors what potential there actually is at ITFC.

A blue action social media push over the next few weeks sharing videos of chants at games and/or some chants posted on social media disguised as fancy graphics… better idea.

I think those calling it tinpot are imagining physical songsheets handed out at a game, which would be.
I see nothing wrong with Blue Action having a microsite with links to the songs, as YouTube videos (plus with the lyrics in the description). Then it's more like people can have a look if they want rather than trying to get people to do it. |  |

I think it depends what you are trying to achieve here too.
I suppose I would love us to become a progressive football club, and take what Blu e Action have started, and take influence from other clubs like Palace to take our support to the next level. I think it can take the club a long way.
But in order to achieve that, new ideas would have to be tried, in order to change and improve something, you have to do something different, else you will always remain in the same place. | |

Yeah, we already do this. Just go along to our YouTube channel and you'll see a few vids on there with accompanying lyrics. We try out songs in the section first, try and get them some traction, then get a video out. The problem is, videos from WITHIN the section never sound as good; but luckily, Ross - who does a lot of the matchday filming for the club - occasionally sends us clips facing the section. These are always so much better, so from now on we should get some much crisper videos for folk to see... |  |
