I think we are too used to looking at a 7 point gap in terms of relegation rivals.
We talk about a 7 point gap as if 2-3 results will sort it out.
Its takes far longer to make up a 7 point gap against play off rivals that it does against relegation rivals. |  |

Last year we were third at 22nd November, the previous year 2nd and we know what happened by the end.
Having said that, its 7 points and the two teams in 5th/6th have a game/two more to play so its more than 7.
