Anyone want to discuss... 13:02 - Nov 24 with 3707 viewsfooters

... anything not related to how crap we were last night/whether Cook should remain or not/potential line-ups/what the feck's gone wrong this season etc?

Anyone tried the new Pret Christmas sarnie? Quite the banger.

That's all I've got for now. Other suggestions welcome.

That sounds like an intriguing carb overload. Might have to check it out.

Costa's coffee is the absolute pits though.

What do you expect from the makers of Coca-Cola?

That is currently cooking slowly in the oven alongside lambs liver and assorted vegetables in a casserole dish.
Will be ready to serve at approximately 7.15 pm .
Should just demolish in time to settle down in the armchair with a glass or two of Malbec (a nice one) and watch some Champions League footie.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

I can't decide how I feel about brioche rolls. The ciabatta is clearly overrated nonsense, but I just can't decide how I feel about the brioche. (Am eating a ham, cheese an cheesy coleslaw brioche roll at mo)

Brioche should be served for breakfast. With jam. Or used for a wedding dance in La Vendée.

Had challah bread the other week which was similarly sweet to brioche. Very nice it was too.

For me, a bagel is a bit rich and stodgy. And the hole in the middle is a nuisance. There, I said it.

Anti-bagelism is just a dog-whistling form of antipathy towards the religion that invented it in Poland.

You'll get reported to pro-bagel vigilante groups.

Controversies aside, I'll miss them so much when I grow up.

Clear to see we are missing what the formation requires, which is attacking full backs, that's what this system is about and without them it is alarming to see just how average we are, the midfield seems to be about holding shape to let the width flow, January needs to be fully focused on those full back positions because we need an extra pair on both sides.
As good as he has been, Donacien does not fit with the system, it's pretty clear to see that.

This forum is obsessed with 2 up front but I can't see it working for us, this is the same formation that gave us the 34 goals in the first place, the recent goal drought isn't a striker problem but the actual players in the system for me. It doesn't click properly without those forward thinking fullbacks.

You nailed it btw!

Did you go out, or out out?

Well, depends how you look at it really.

I needed a post office but the local one was closed.

This is where it gets interesting, there is another one 4 miles up the road, so I went there instead.

Now that's a round trip of 8 miles so that's kind more than just 'out' isn't it?
